Who We Are

Our Story & Foundation

Plateau Baptist Academy, Jos, was established in 2018 as a visionary project of the Plateau Baptist Conference, born from a commitment to provide affordable, quality, and value-based Christian education in a society where many missionary schools have become financially inaccessible.

We began our journey with 47 students in the 2018/2019 academic year, and through God's grace and our commitment to excellence, we have grown to 475 students in the 2025/26 academic year. Our foundation is built on the three-pronged ministry model of Jesus Christ: Preaching (Gospel Ministry), Teaching (Education Ministry), and Healing (Caring Ministry).

Today, we stand as a premier Christian academy dedicated to nurturing positive change agents who will impact their generation and the world for Christ.
